Nova Orquestra Futurista do Porto (OPorto’s New Futuristic Orchestra), is a collective directed and conducted by Henrique Fernandes. Applying and updating the idea of Russolo - a whole orchestra of new sounds produced by Intonarumori (noise generators, as the name implies ) - with the means we now know, the NOFP put in use a number of tools per se constructed / manipulated: electrical engines, radio, "acoustic laptops", water bottles with hydrophones, paper cones, Atari game console, real-time video capture and handling and others.
